Once this bill goes through I can see China launching a drone war on America and the land of the free are free from all CCP made drones. And America is stuck with skydio and no other cheap drones to combat the swarm China is about to launch at us.

The biggest thing that the 'powers that be' haven't even addressed is that pretty much any information the Chinese could glean from our drones, they can also just as easily get from say Google Earth, Google and Microsoft street views, posted social media pics in a certain location, etc. This is all such BS and is money driven, not security.

So which number do i put in for the registration? I have a flight controller s/n and a remote controller s/n or is it a different number all together. It is a DJI Air 3 and it has the FAA cert that you showed on their website.

Suppose we are alway from drone or drone are at low level like 20ft in garden or under tress.sudenly we need RTH but if i had set RTH HEIGHT AT 200 feets.. My question is that when my dji air 3 prepear him for goto 200 feets (for set RTH position but drone are at under tress so what will b happened.. They did or not colapsed with tress..? Sen Marsha Blackburn's response to my DJI Ban opposition was received today. "Thank you for contacting me regarding the Chinese espionage activities in the United States." ?? I don't recall contacting her office about that subject at all. I can only surmise that the latest defense of the ban is to conflate DJI drones with Chinese balloons in US airspace in 2023 and "dealing with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)." "Combatting the CCP's influence in the U.S. is among my top priorities. You may be assured that I will keep your thoughtful comments in mind should legislation regarding Chinese espionage activities come before the full Senate." sigh....

I stress a lot over having an observer when I fly my Avata 2. There is a remote park where most times there is NO ONE around for hundreds of yards, and a protected area. It’s also an RC registered site with two crossing runways. Just trying to get FPV experience, but can’t always find someone to help.

Too bad that x2 is going to be a brick very soon.

It seems this targeting of DJI drones is aimed at controlling the commonly owned mini series that because they weigh under 250grams don't require a formal FAA license for recreational use. Additionally they are affordable unlike the USA drones which are bigger, bulkier, more expensive and require registration, a formal FAA license. I ask again where is the proof behind the claims and why haven't the facts been made available to the public under the freedom of information Act.

Just bought one and flew it in my house for the first time today. Great video. I want to try the active track from front POV mode while on my mountain bike going through forest trails.

Has anyone flown much with the pro guards on a Mini 4 Pro? I flew once and it was extremely erratic, and I have never put them on again. I know it has to switch to pro guards mode, but the spazzing out was enough for me not to try it again and I can't imagine how bad it would handle in the wind.

I Am about to spend $5K -$10K for new drone equipment. I have DJI Mavic 3 drones. What would you advise me as far as being concerned about the future of DJI support for drones purchased now?

I drove around the ghetto with a drone on my dash, on, like a dash cam and alerts coming up on my controller screen about flying near a controlled airport. I would have kept going longer on more streets, but it started overheating......lol. You know what?? The 4K 180frame cam is better than any other camera I have. Took nice videos.
